WEBOSAURS PRIVACY POLICY (COPPA)

  1. Your Child's Privacy and the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act

Reel FX, Inc., a Texas corporation, creator of Webosaurs (“us”, “we”, or “Reel FX”), is committed to providing a safe and secure online experience for visitors to our site. We are committed to safeguarding any personal information collected online and helping parents and children have positive experiences on the Internet. The purpose of this Children's Privacy Policy is to explain what information we collect, how we collect information, and how we use that information, so that you may ensure the privacy of your and your child's information.

The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA" or the "Act") protects the Personal Information (“PI”) of children under the age of 13. The Act applies to individually identifiable information about a child that is collected online, such as full name, home address, email address, telephone number or any other information that would allow someone to identify or contact the child. The Act also applies to information obtained through cookies or online tracking mechanisms when tied to individually identifiable information. It is important for you to understand the Act and what steps you can take to protect your child's online privacy. You may learn more about the COPPA at http://www.ftc.gov/ogc/coppa1.htm. Reel FX cares about the privacy and confidentiality of any information shared with us, so we will never knowingly request personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13 without prior verifiable parental consent.

  2. The Information We Collect

Reel FX is prohibited from conditioning a child's participation in an activity on the child's disclosure of more PI than is reasonably necessary to participate in the activity. If a specific piece of information is not necessary to participate in an activity, we don't ask the child for it.

When Reel FX collects information from children under the age of 13, we generally only collect non-individually identifiable information, including the child's age, country of residence, and gender. This generic, non-individually identifiable information is not covered by COPPA and collection of this type of information does not require Reel FX to obtain parental consent.

Reel FX may collect online contact information from children under the age of 13 in order to respond once to a specific request from a child. For example, Reel FX may allow children to submit questions and get a response from a Reel FX employee. Online contact information that is collected in this manner will be deleted after Reel FX responds to the request.

Reel FX may collect online contact information from children under the age of 13 in order to respond more than once to a specific request from a child or to protect the safety of the child. For example, Reel FX may collect online contact information to allow a child to sign up for an online newsletter. When Reel FX collects such online contact information we require the child to provide either a parent's or guardian's e-mail address or a parent's or guardian's street address so that Reel FX can send the child's parent or guardian a notice regarding Webosaurs children's online information practices. In such situations, the contact information is only used to respond to the child's request and to notify the child's parent or guardian that the child contacted Reel FX.

In certain circumstances, it is reasonably necessary for Reel FX to collect individually identifiable personal information from children under the age of 13 for participation in some activities, such as contests or prize giveaways. In those instances, Reel FX does not collect individually identifiable personal information prior to obtaining verifiable parental consent. How we obtain parental consent is discussed in the "How We Obtain Parental Consent" section below.

  3. How We Use, Disclose, and Store Information We Collect

Reel FX does not sell PI you provide to us online to third parties. We do not require you to register or provide information to utilize most areas of our Website. Reel FX does gather PI, such as names, addresses, zip/postal codes, email addresses, etc., when it is reasonably necessary to participate in an activity. For example, PI is collected in order to process online transactions and to enter online contests. This information is used solely by Reel FX or other entities that are involved in the operation of this site for internal purposes.

    1. Outside Data Service Providers: In certain circumstances, Reel FX may share PI with outside service providers that need access to your information to provide operational or other support services such as, but not limited to, Website development or payment processing. When we utilize outside services, we limit the amount of information we share so that the service provider receives only the information needed to perform those services. To ensure the confidentiality and security of this information, service providers must agree to safeguard all information in strict compliance with our policy.
    2. Disclosure to Law Enforcement: Reel FX may disclose information where we are required to do so by law, such as, but not limited to, in response to a court order or a subpoena. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we also may disclose PI in response to a request from a law enforcement agency or public safety agency (including schools or family protective services). Further, we may disclose PI if we reasonably believe that such disclosure may prevent the instigation of a crime, facilitate an investigation related to public safety or protect the safety of a child using our website, protect the security or integrity of our website, or enable us to take precautions against liability.
    3. Change of Control, Merger, or Sale of Company: If we sell all or part of our business or make a sale or transfer of our assets or are otherwise involved in a merger or business transfer, we may transfer PI to a third party as part of that transaction, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
  4. How We Obtain Parental Consent

In some instances, Reel FX may collect individually identifiable PI from children under the age of 13 for participation in certain activities. Reel FX uses reasonable efforts to obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting such information from a child. Parents or guardians are required to demonstrate their consent for Reel FX to collect certain PI about your child, as well as your child's participation in certain activities or promotions. The method of parental consent may vary depending upon the specific activity and will likely include responding to separate, multiple email transmissions from Reel FX. Additional consent mechanisms may be used in the future. Whenever parental consent is obtained, the parent or guardian will be given an identification code so that Reel FX can identify and authenticate future requests from that parent or guardian.

  5. Parental Review of Information

Parents or guardians whose children have provided information to Reel FX may review the information provided by their child by sending an e-mail message to contact@webosaurs.com or by contacting Reel FX at the address provided in the "How to Contact Us" section below. Parents and Guardians may also revoke their consent and ask that information about their children be deleted from the site. If such a request is received, Reel FX will make all reasonable efforts to promptly delete the information from its files.

In order to protect your child's privacy and security, Reel FX will take reasonable steps to verify parent's or guardian's identities prior to granting access to PI that we collect about your child. These steps may include requiring that such parental requests must contain the parent's or guardian's name and identification code as well as a valid e-mail address, a street address, or a phone number.

  6. Collection of Information for Third-Party Sites and Sponsors

This site may be linked to other sites and services that are not maintained by Reel FX. These Web sites have their own privacy policies, which you should review prior to visiting them. Reel FX has no responsibility for linked Web sites and provide these links solely for the convenience and information of our visitors.

  7. Use of Cookies

Reel FX may use software technologies such as unique identifiers or "cookies." Cookies are small text files that we place in visitors' computer browsers to store their preferences. We may use cookies to learn about usage of our site, such as geographic location, how many visitors we have and how often they visit various sections of our site. Cookies themselves do not contain any PI. If we link these unique identifiers with your other PI, we will treat the unique identifiers as PI as long as they are linked.

  8. Data Security

Reel FX has established appropriate physical, electronic, and organizational procedures to protect the confidentiality, security, integrity, and correctly use the information we collect through this Web site.

  9. Transmission and Storage of Financial Information

Protecting the safety of your credit card information is also important to us. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to protect the security of your credit card information as it is transmitted to us. SSL is the industry standard in Internet encryption technology, which is a highly sophisticated method of scrambling data as it travels from your computer to our Web site servers. We also encrypt your credit card number when we store your order and whenever we transfer that information to participating merchants.

To make sure you are accessing our secure server before you submit personal financial information, look at the lower left-hand corner of your browser. If you see an unbroken key or a closed lock (depending upon your browser), then SSL is active. To double-check for security, look at the URL or Address line of your browser. If you have accessed a secure server, the first characters of the address in that line should change from "http" to "https."

It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.

  10. A Note to Parents

Reel FX has developed this Web site to be an enjoyable experience for children of all ages. Reel FX recognizes that some younger children may not understand some of the information contained on the Web site or how the site operates. Please discuss this statement with your children so that they will better understand how to use the site and the information they may be asked to provide. Reel FX strongly believes that providing its visitors with accurate and adequate notice about the Web site will lead to informed choices and decisions about how to use the site, as well as protect its users' privacy.
